I just got a great letter

Today I got a great letter from Bob Coburn, host of the national radio show Rockline.

I’d like to share it with you all.

Hi Sean,
Scott just told me the horrible news. I am so sorry and I want you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I’m a big believer in the power of prayer. If you get a moment, please tell me your brother’s name. I feel it helps personalize things.

No one deserves to go through something like this. Although I did not know your brother, I know you and you’re one of the last nice guys in this business. Beyond sensing what must be your unimaginable grief, let me know if there is anything at all I could possibly do.

Thanks Bob, I’ve been thinking about you and the incredible pain you must be since your surgery. I have been saying a prayer for you too my friend.

Since May 5th I tried to hold the pain in. But lately I’ve been writing and letting the anguish consume me. Next, I must be reborn with vigor and do what I have done in the past when I have lost someone close to me, rededicate my life to making people smile, help the less fortunate and leave this earth a better place.
