Closing the borders

George Washington said that the US should not , “entangle our peace and prosperity in the toils of European ambition.”

I’ve spent time and energy for others recently that have not only been not returned but rebuffed.

I am so lucky to have friends like Kat, Gary, Surf and my poker buddies that the local yahoo’s that I’ve been toiling with have outlived their usefulness. “Help me, Sean!” then I have to discover where we are meeting for the game by calling around.

I’ve reached a point where I will not entangle my peace and prosperity in the toils of people who only use me when I am useful to them.

Thus, with very few exceptions, I am closing the borders. No new friends in, no hand outs.

Take this bad luck and stuff it in your pipe to smoke it.

The IM and chat’s are being turned off now.

Time to worry about ME for once.
