The Hanging…

The ominous clouds hung overhead.  A dark patch of black was in the sky as I drove to work today.  I could smell the rain…

But it didn’t rain.

All it did was smell like rain, and my head pounded.

I needed it to rain today.  I went over to a charity luncheon where I was in charge for raising money.  We set a new record today, with me selling as much in one sessions as was sold for BOTH sessions last year.  It was a great success.

As I was showing off the bracelet on my assistants hand my phone rang.

The ring was one I dread to hear.

It was the Transmitter.

Yup something had happened and we were off the air.

17 phone calls and finally reaching to the level where I will be using those “Rollover” min that I thought I would never need.

Thank goodness for that.

We got to the transmitter and I could feel my hair stand on end.

Yup, it was Tragedy.

I just knew that it wasn’t going to be a great day when I saw the clouds this morning.

But as I left the transmitter as it poured down, I stepped into a prarie dog hole. It hurt my ankle and my pride.  As I flipped off the prarie dog, the mud and everything else that happened today I came home to realize that I have found the patience that I have always asked for.

I always prayed for patience.  But it was always inside of me.

Tonight I work a little on Project X, and do some writing for it.  One of these days I’ll let you read the results of my writing on Project X.  But for now , this is one novel that you won’t get previews for.

I talked to the kids today and part of me was happy and yet disappointed.  Ryan was still being stubborn and Shelby was just there.  I will find a way to see them. I have to.  I feel like I am losing touch with them.

However I did hear some interesting news.

“Sean, it may be the other Sean in Corydon, but Shelby and I think you may have won the calendar drawing AGAIN!”

If it is true. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Another $50.  But I didn’t win on Holy Thursday so I am a bit disappointed.

Still +EV!
