- If you were able to live to 90 and retain either the body or your mind of a 30 year old for the last 60 years of your life, which one would you want? The mind of a 30 year old
- Would you rather be extremely successful professionally and have a tolerable yet unexciting private life, or have an extremely happy private life and only a tolerable and unexciting professional life? The second one
- Are there people you envy enough to want to trade lives with them? Who are they? No, because they have problems too.
- When did you last sing to yourself or someone else? Sang happy birthday to a friend on Thursday
- While parking late at night, you scrape the side of an expensive new car. You are certain no one else is aware of what happened and the damage appeared to be minor, would you leave a note? Yes. Karma is a bitch!
- How do you react when people sing happy birthday to you in a restaurant? I hate celebrating my birthday and this year I was driving to get my kids for hours on my birthday.
- If you walked out your door one morning and saw a bird with a broken wing huddled in a nearby bush, what would you do? Leave it alone. The Big Guy has put it there for a reason.
- If a friend were almost always late, would you resent it or simply allow for it? Can you be counted on to be on time? Simple allow for it. 95% of the time I am 30 min early the rest of the time I am 5 min late
- If you could have free, unlimited service for five years from an extremely good cook, chauffeur, housekeeper, masseuse, or personal secretary, which would you choose? Personal Secretary, it would be nice to have someone to make sure I get those damned christmas cards out before I think about them in January.
- Do you feel ill or at ease going alone to either dinner or a movie? What about going on vacation by yourself? I’ve done the by myself movie and dinner. Hate it. Been on vacation by myself, hated it. Love to share things with others. But recently I have started to do things by myself. Doesn’t feel bad.
- Is it easy for you to accept help when you need it? Will you ask for help? No I am too stubborn to ask for help
- Is there something you’ve dreamed of doing for a long time? Yes Why haven’t you done it? Scared to jump.
- What are your most compulsive habits? Do you regularly struggle to break these habits? Bite my fingernails. Yes
- What do you most strive for in your life: accomplishment, security, love, power, excitement, knowledge or something else? Accomplishment first love second, knowledge third.
- Do you usually make special effort to thank someone who does you a favor? How do you react when you aren’t thanked for going out of your way for someone? Yes I do. I feel offended
- If you were at a friend’s house for Thanksgiving dinner and found a dead bug in your salad, what would you do? Stop eating the salad.
- When you do something ridiculous, how much does it bother you to have other people notice and to laugh at you? Its my life. People laugh at me. Doesn’t hurt as long as I don’t let it hurt
- Do you find it difficult to say “no”, so much so that you usually do favors for others you don’t want to do? If so, why? Yes. Because I am a nice guy and usually taken advantage of
- Do you judge others by higher or lower standards than you judge yourself? Lower standards
- What things do you consider too personal to discuss with others? God and Sex
- Before making a telephone call, do you ever rehearse what you are going to say? Yes
- Would you rather be overdressed or underdressed for a party? underdressed
- If you were given $1 million dollars to donate anonymously to a charity or a stranger, how would you dispose of it? Donate it anonymously to different charities in surprise ways. 500$ gold coins in Salvation Army buckets, 10000$ bills put in collection boxes for Red Cross etc. Sometimes the best gifts are those without a name on them.
- Do you find yourself saying things you don’t mean, just to be polite? Sometimes, but most times I tell people what I think to my dismay…
- In love, is intensity or permanence more important to you? Permanence How much do you expect from someone who loves you? I want everlasting love! What would make you feel most betrayed? Indifference, dishonesty or infidelity? Infidelity hurts but Indifference hurts more. I hate infidelity!
- How forgiving are you when your friends let you down? Do you address the issue with your friends? I’ve been let down many times. I address it normally when they need something from me.
