AT&T 1 Sean 0…
So the second I walk into work today my cell phone rings!
“Mr. Tragedy, Bob from AT&T, we think we found your problem from yesterday,” he said with an obvious smile on his face.
“And that problem would be,” I asked knowing the tragedy ahead.
“Well, we cut you off at the central office by accident.”
“You what?”
“Yup, for some reason, they turned you off at the CO, so we turned you back on today.”
Well, what they don’t know is that I am going to be turning them off soon, BYE BYE unreliable service.
I’m staying with the service where I get better reliability with less stress.

ATT always did a pretty good job for us domestically. most of the issues we experienced were related to local providers. Qwest and PacBell being the worst. We finally switched all our data services over to InfoNet for better global coverage and support. But, no matter what ISP you have, your local provider can still kick u in the nutz.
Sean Replies:”I totally agree, but I am getting 4 times the speed for 1/2 the price is much, much better. As for the service, I’ve had no outages on my cable modem and numerous with AT&T with their customer support who, in some cases, had to be told by me where they were directing me, because they couldn’t understand their own script! I have one internet for work and one for home, and as a backup, but as of later today, I’ll be using the work one only. I’d rather have speed and not be paying up the yazoo for it. And as for the local provider, if they screw up, they get blasted on the air like AT&T did. The truth hurts sometimes! See you at the Bodonk to night Smok!”
I hated Qwest first, then AT&T and soon realized they all suck. Most of the companies have never had to actually give good customer service. They just don’t have the corporate culture to do it.
Its sometimes important to remember that a lot of these companies are offspring of a monopoly.
AT&T did the same thing to my home phone & DSL last week.
Had to go into work to play the Mookie.
