And she said yes…

What? Yeah, she said yes.  I asked her a question and she said yes…

“Do I have to wake up now?”

I wanted to stay asleep this weekend and was taking a nap on the bed while she was reading my book “The Castle” and offering up advice.  She wanted to discuss a portion of the book while I didn’t want to leave the comfort of my bed and well placed fan.

But I had to.  I asked, and she said yes.

I’ve been opening my eyes up to a bunch of things in life and I am starting to get concerned about Friday, yup when we pack up the car with: Presents for Dad’s B-day, one groomed and rabies shotted dog and a nervous girlfriend.

I promise her daily that the parents won’t eat her alive. But she still has concerns.

I’ve been stuck in a pattern the six months where I didn’t do anything for me, I just let things happen and people take advantage of me.  Joanna singlehandedly has stopped that.  I feel stronger each day.

I’ve taken some things that I haven’t felt comfortable in the past doing and dropped them, but the things I love doing, she has encouraged me.

We have a calendar on the wall at the house that keeps us straight between classes, remotes, and work for both of us.  It is encouraging to feel that I am not alone anymore.

Now I know that Shelby and Ryan have had a serious place in my heart and I am sure that as they get older I will spend more time with them, but until Joanna came along it was just me and Mugsy.

Time to catch up with some people:

I called my friend Craig last week, and he just got back from Comicon.  From his voice I could tell that he was really excited.  It was great to talk to him and I wasn’t sure if Craig had let TI get to him.  After talking to him, we fell back into our old routine.  It was easy talking to him and a friend I had let go too long from talking to has gotten back in touch.

I talked with my friends Jennifer and Tony the other day.  Their munchkin is getting big and thank the Big Guy that the poor child looks like Jennifer.  Living in San Angelo is keeping me and them seperated but it will be MY TURN to pick up the check when we go to lunch on the 14th.

And in conclusion…

Lots of things on my mind…  I need to start saving some money for the home improvement projects that the house needs , like painting (inside and out) as well as a new fence.  However I’m thinking of putting up an eight foot privacy fence.

Yup, time to improve and then close the borders.

:-)   Have a great Thursday!
