If you can’t beat them, schedule bigger losers…

Texas Tech announces 2010 Football Schedule today.

“We are pleased with how this schedule fell into place,” Texas Tech Director of Athletics Gerald Myers said. “We were able to work some things out with our league schedule to accommodate a network opportunity, while also bringing our fans an attractive non-conference schedule as well.”

Are you fricking kidding me?

SMU (Sept. 4)  (YAWN!)

at New Mexico (Sept. 11)  (AWAY YAWN)

Texas (Sept. 18)  (We’ll get beat earlier in the year again)

at Iowa State (Oct. 2) (Say goodbye to home for a while)

at Baylor   (Oct. 9) during Texas State Fair week @ the Cotton Bowl (BYE BYE MONEY LUBBOCK FOR THE REST OF THIS SERIES!)

Oklahoma State (Oct. 16) (Good Game)

at Colorado (Oct. 23) (Pack your bags, we’re off to snow ski)

at Texas A&M (Oct. 30) (Revenge Beating)

Missouri (Nov. 6) ( HEY LOOK A HOME GAME!)

at Oklahoma (Nov. 13) (Joy! We can get our asses handed to us again!)

Weber State (Nov. 20) (Let’s schedule TOP TEAMS! Like #19 FCS opponent Weber State! That’ll sure help our BCS rating!)

Houston (Nov. 27) (Revenge Beating)

In other words, this is nowhere near Texas the only A game on the schedule, Ok. State the only B team, and bring in the losers (SMU, Missouri, Weber State and Houston).

And before Mitchell you say “Houston beat you this year” BITE ME! It still doesn’t make them a quality team.  Wait till you fall off the bandwagon after this season. Show me consistency and a bowl game record that isn’t 1-4 in the last  8years!

BTW, we are 6-2 in the last 8 years (* In 2009, the NCAA vacated Alabama’s 2006 Cotton Bowl victory and thus it is a RED RAIDER VICTORY [stupid cheating Baman's!]

You are ruining my season tickets. Who cares about Sticks killing SMU or Weber State?

I’m voting with my pocketbook. Joanna and I won’t PAY for season tickets.

FTC: This is never been, nor ever will be a Texas Tech Endorsement.
