Back again…
Yup, able to write for a bit.
Let’s see here, Joe came to the blogosphere, drank all the liquor, tried to taunt my deceased dog, and posted once.
Coming up after the break: Joe’s New Blog, Tech football and wedding thoughts as well as a bunch of others in this Uber (tm Iggy Inc).
Then he got sober and decided to post in his own universe: http://joe-thinkingoutsidethebox.blogspot.com/
Now, I’ve been Joe’s friend for years, and I know stepping outside of the box was difficult. So was asking a woman out or getting up in the morning. Joe is shy in front of the mirror. But I wish him good luck in his writing efforts.
I’m waiting for the e-mail “How do I do that?”
Wait for it…

You’re a moron.
So how do I link yours to mine?
Mu hu hahahahahaahah
I’m excited for Joe, he’s made yet another move from one backwater community Hays, KS to Alabama. I wonder if he still has his teeth.
Texas Tech Football
I’ve been excited this year, because I knew that with the changes in the lines as well as in quarterback that it would be a challenging year. I didn’t think it would be this challenging.
We lost games we shouldn’t have (Houston, A&M) and we won games I thought we would lose (Nebraska, Oklahoma), but in the end it’s a wash and the season for football is approaching an end.
Has this year seemed to be a disappointment to everyone? I mean, if you aren’t TCU or Boise State? Nobody cares about Florida or Alabama, cause Alabama will beat Florida December 5th and then Alabama will beat UT.
It’s not that I’m on the Alabama bandwagon, there is only one
bandwagon fan that Alabama should worry about. Because once he roots for your team, they go to suck (UTEP, Tx Tech, KSU). But once he moves off to the next school they suddenly don’t suck.
I’m glad this year we decided to be boring and have QB contraversy and all that stuff. Let’s this year be our 9-4 down year and then we can return to dominance next year.
I believe next year, since we have UT here and no Colt McCoy, and since NO Bradford in OU, we will have a chance in those two games. I still don’t like the Weber state pickup game. Why not improve the way people look at us, have some balls, and schedule Boise State. Tell Boise, to put on their big girl panties, avoid this stupidity of a $500,000 request to come play at Tech, and just offer a home and home with them.
It’s not like Weber State is going to improve our BCS ratings. I mean, let’s say we beat UT at home, we are running the table, making a 2008 drive to the BCS, and we play BCS subdivision Weber State, I can see the computer polls giving us crap for it. But what the hell, we just have to beat Baylor this week and put ourselves in the best bowl possible.
Best possible Tech football scenario : Cotton Bowl / Alamo Bowl – They are drivable and in the case of the Alamo bowl would face a Big 10 team. HAHAHAHAHAHA , sorry couldn’t help myself.
Worst possible Tech football scenario : Texas Bowl – Drivable but why would you want to?
Wedding thoughts:
26 days to go and I’m not worried about Joanna nor I. Nor am I worried about our parents or families.
I’m just worried about the small details. I just want to nail down all the little things from, paying the photographer, making sure the Groomsmen have been MEASURED:
Mitchell Ivey
Reid Forrest,
and Allen Weathers…
You are on notice. Get it done or face the wrath of my fiance. (Shutter)
This weekend the future in-laws came into town and we reorganized the kids room/ office and the working on moving some of Joanna’s stuff over to the garage.
I cleaned out, reorganized the garage and I’ll be dammed, there is a floor under there.
I loved the comment that was asked of me when I was going to work on the Mustang.
My response : When I can afford to work on it. Otherwise it’s not moving. I may actually work on it Friday, putting the new tires on the wheels (instead of doing Christmas shopping).
It’s one of my projects that I am taking on my time, not on anyone elses.
I’m really excited about finally getting married. I have a fresh start with a woman who loves me, kids who approve of Joanna, and no regrets.
I can’t wait till it happens.
The Kids
Shelby has changed her mind what she wants to be what she grows up yet again and it makes me laugh. I really believe that she can do anything that she wants to do whether it would be meteorologist, vet, teacher, or writer.
Every time we talk I can see the wheels moving in her bright mind. She always is planning the next day in her mind and is learning actively with school.
I can’t wait till I see her on in 24 days.
Ryan is more quiet until you get him talking on a topic then he’s off and going until he realizes that he’s talking to you and then he shuts up.
HI ANGIE, SHELBY & WORK!
Yup, I’m writing off of here to make sure that people who don’t need to know but what I want them to know , but people I want to know what I want them to know.
HUH?
Well, I’m laughing, loving and about to play some poker… life is good.

I hate the Titans.
The Texas Bowl is very drivable for me…
Put the whole post in RSS man! I don’t know how many times I miss most of your post because I figure it’s just some short “hey, I’m still alive” thing.
Glad to hear things are going busily well and you’re excited about the upcoming nuptials. I skipped the part about football that I care even less about than the NFL.
I’m very disappointed that Tech is replacing us with Weber State next year. Now we have to find another OOC game on short notice. Plus, giving you guys an ass kicking in Lubbock would have been sweet revenge for 2004.
12-3, never forget!
