We want to know what 3 songs that you want to hear at the wedding reception. You guys help pick the play list …! We always love the help of our friends. Let me know what songs you want to hear and if the “Music Director” approves it, you will be jamming along to it at the wedding reception.
Now all the music for the major dances are done.
The music while you eat are chosen.
The music for the introduction of the Bridal Party is done.
But what do we dance to after all the formalities are done?
Please help us make the decision.
Otherwise it’s 3 hours of the Chicken dance. And nobody wants that!

Taking a note from the other Shawn’s wedding, “She’s having my baby” should not be on the list.
Well, since I sadly can’t attend, I shall provide mandatory wedding songs (at least for weddings I do attend).
Boney M – Rasputin. I have a friend who insists that a marriage isn’t legal unless Rasputin has been played.
Spirit of the West – Home For a Rest – a fine jiggy drinking song that is also required play for any (Canadian) Engineer’s wedding. Usually towards the end.
Young MC – Bust a Move. Because everyone likes to sing along. Girls are fakin’ goodness sakin’ they want a man who brings home the bacon…
Play some Skynard man!
I picked out very little music for our wedding. My taste just isn’t appropriate. We did choose our band solely on the fact that they had a fiddler who could play Devil Went Down to Georgia. Man, did that ROCK!!!!
Anything with Bagpipes or by the Bay City Rollers….the Greatest band from the Greatest Country that ever existed. Any other so called music would be CRAP!
