MEDIC!!!

After CAT-Scan and X-ray's and other tests the doc told me the following : Mr Donahue, you have a hole in your left eardrum (which would explain my lack of balance the last three days), you are dehydrated, you have a concussion , you are exhausted, your blood pressure is higher than normal and you have a case of severe bronchitis (which would explain why I have no voice). You need to rest.

Hey pinheads…

I don't believe you when you tell me that you want to be my friend. I don't care if you say that you served in Desert Storm, or help with your daughter's Girl Scout troop. I don't care if you've listened to me on the radio for years and are my biggest fan.

U.S. benches Shuster for France match and Sean rejoices!

Schuster, you killed it, you BLOCKHEAD!

He said Thursday after a third straight extra-end loss, this time to Denmark, “I’ve let my teammates and USA Curling down.”

He then added… Good Grief.

Some of you asked, why my interest in curling?

Next to hockey it’s interesting and hockey will be boring until the US takes on Canada in both Women’s and Men’s competitions.

So now 0-4 I just wanted to find someone that is a bigger blockhead then some people I know.

So John Schuster, you may have won a U.S. National, but next to this person…

you still are the 2010 Olympic Goat.  See you in 2014.

Working on Miracles…

No, not the USA Curling team who blew yet another game tonight.  WHY OH WHY did we let Charlie Brown skip our team? We’re the laughing stock of curling. Wait a min. That means nothing.

I’m working on Miracles in Audio for my favorite time of year, the CMN Radiothon at work.  I think I tug at the heartstrings enough.

Stand by on the 25th, 26th and 27th.  My job is to make people feel.

What do you think?

My creation

I would like you all to just do me a favor and say a prayer / send good thoughts and if in the Lubbock area consider making a pledge to the CMN Radiothon.

For those 3 days, I’ll be part of a team trying to raise $250,000 for the UMC Children’s Hospital.

And every dollar we get stays in Lubbock.

So be part of the miracle…

And if you aren’t in Lubbock, you can listen online.

This is the one time I break my rule about not posting about work on my personal blog.  But every year I ask, and I am amazed at the end result every year.

Have you thought of the following today?
Calling a lost friend? Smiling at a stranger? Laughing for no reason? Kicking someone you hate in the privates?
