Part two will be finished in the morning, all ready by Sunday DROP DEAD Deadline.
I love it when a plan comes together.
I gotta crash, shift in the morning and then I get to play.
BTW Major props out to Carol who made a run at a big poker tourney and fell a little short. Crubs always make it dear. You’ll get em next time, I believe in you.
But I believe in a lot of things. I should have done this long ago.
Well tonight Jo and I went to see Brian Regan at the Civic Center.
Funny guy but was more impressed with the opening act Kermit Apio!
Jo and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings cause I was craving buffalo wings and I’ve been good on my diet that I started after the surgery.
We came home and watched the new Burn Notice and decided that Saturday we’d clean the garage and I’d spend 3 hours doing nothing but writing.
I miss writing, but I have been working on some projects and spending more time thinking and writing stuff that I don’t want anyone to read.
The sites on my stomach are getting better I just need to give them more time. I heal fast, but I’m so damn impatient.
Still waiting for my “revised” passport to show up. Still surprised when I sent a New York birth certificate that they would put Lubbock, TX as my birthplace. Hell, I love this place but sheesh.
Hoping my friends are doing well. I’ve been lurking around, busy at work, my busy time of year preparing for my major event. Then I get to go to Ireland.
This was the first weekend in a long while that I didn’t have multiple remotes for work and major projects to have me complicated in a long time.
I had a busy Friday night working until Midnight and had a noon remote at Hooters where I got pretty well sunburned at the Hooters/Air Force car wash.
But then I was meh.
I came home yesterday and did all my laundry and started to move things around so this morning I could take up the rest of the carpet that was going to disappear into a dumpster.
I wanted to go see a movie or do something, but everyone I tried calling was busy or not answering. So I went to see my friend Corye at the mall. We yakked and had a laugh then I headed home.
I spent the rest of the evening playing cards and reading the end of my new favorite book. I crashed at Midnight which again was weird for me.
I woke up at ten this morning and started ripping up the last of the carpet, bagging it up and throwing it in the dumpster. YEAH! After sweeping the room and taking a shower I headed off for a trip. I drove around looking for something to interest me. I made the same calls and hearing from no one, I headed to the house where I did some light organizing of my room and started to think about all the books that I have that I don’t use.
Probably going to have the streets largest garage sale or put them up on Amazon or Ebay. Right now they are taking space that I don’t have until I can get some real bookshelf’s made.
I played more poker, winning on Bodog and losing on Full Tilt, but the day was really blah.
Then I went up to work and got a lot of stuff done so I can finish up a couple of projects tomorrow.
Back to straightening stuff and throwing stuff away.
So the AC in my office has “let out the magic smoke” and died, so my office was a sauna of 88 degrees yesterday afternoon. So I am awaiting the new one to be installed. Especially when the real heat of the summer hasn’t started yet.
Today I am eagerly awaiting news on Project Z, which is something that I’ve waited seven years for. But I sent the correct information and e-mails, and all I can do is wait.
I can’t wait until the beginning of Football Season. CLEVELAND vs. DALLAS!
GO BROWNIES!
I’ve been enjoying going to the house and getting stuff accomplished but that leaves tonight for me to be left alone.
Because it’s the BODONKEY!

Right Now I am #9. But the cool thing is that with 5 tourneys left, ANYONE can find their way into the top 18. I’m only 50 points out of the top 5. I guarantee that I won’t be doing anything but playing the Bodonkey today. I’ve set aside EVERYTHING to get those points that keep me in the top 18.
I mean I am the Phil Mickelson of Poker Bloggers. I might as well try to win or take second again I took Second last week, this week may be the week I finally break through. Hell, I could be like Sergio Garcia. He won a “Major” last Sunday. DAMMIT, Its MY TURN!
So today, I finished cleaning the house and organizing my bedroom.
This week I have the tile man coming to look at how much it is to change the carpet in the living room to tile and the bug man coming to look at the ant mound that is just barely next door in the for sale neighbors house.
Going to have my house sprayed so they don’t get any ideas. I’m going to have “Edgar drop a train on them“.
Hopefully that will work.
Going to have a great day at work.
Lot of good things coming my way… I can feel it! (Positive Affirmation Mode off)
Usually I am HORRIBLE to get up in the morning. I try to wait and wake up at the last possible minute and usually don’t eat breakfast ending up at work seconds from when I need to get at work.
But today , even though I couldn’t sleep and didn’t get to sleep until 2:30, I got up at 7:45 in the morning and had a bowl of cereal. It was a start, and even though I ate the bowl in the comfort of my electric blanket in my room, it was the beginning of changing some things.
Trying to not let the man get me down and just do what I do well.
Yesterday I cleaned out the garage of stuff and threw out nearly a dumpster full of stuff, moved a pile of clothes to the donate to goodwill stack and did some cleaning.
Next stop is the “Garage Sale of all Garage Sales.” I’m probably going to give it to a friend who is having a moving / garage sale and take whatever I can get. If it’s been stuck in my garage and collecting dust I DON’T NEED IT!
I cleaned up my poker game on Sunday and looked at the -EV play that I have made myself do because of the games I play. Back to Vegas strategy. Play Tight, Play Aggressive and PLAY THE PLAYER, NOT THE HAND!
Also it’s time to call the Doc and get Mugsy his shots, which will mean listening to him mope around.
My friend Mike Dalby was worried about me Saturday when I couldn’t even smile during our groups Christmas party. I just couldn’t get into it. I thought it was more interesting to watch Texas Tech beat OU again on videotape than to really socialize at all.
I was down also because it doesn’t look like I will be able to go home for X-mas. I hate to disappoint my grandmother , who wants to see me home, but everything is on a wait and see attitude.
Last night I found something in the garage that may have turned the tide of my depression I was in around. Sometimes a picture can remind you of times when you just didn’t care and when I was truly happy.
